Chef Nigel Huxley trained in Shrewsbury at Radrook Catering College, moved to Switzerland’s Montreux Palace and then to the Savoy Hotel, London. Now in his 18th year at Drapers Hall with his wife Sharon, Nigel is still passionate about creating quality food, endeavouring to share the traditional high standards that were set at these prestigious establishments. His team’s brief is to maintain a minimum standard of two rosettes.
The lunch and dinner restaurant menu is served by candlelight in the main hall.
The brasserie menu is served in the buttery or bar and weather permitting, in the sunny courtyards. It is available at both lunch and dinner time, excluding Saturday and Sunday evening.
Sunday lunch menus change weekly, are great value and quite special.
